Sunday School & Beyond

The North Central Georgia Conference will hold its Sunday School & Beyond Training Session on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at LaGrange College, LaGrange Georgia.  This training session is for all Christian Educators - Vacation Bible School, Sunday School or other special courses.  If you plan on attending, please pick up an application from the office window, and turn it in before July 26th.  We will provide transportation and pay registration fees for those who turn in their application by the 26th of this month.  We will depart from the church at 6:15 a.m.  The sessions end at 2:30 p.m.  If you have questions, please call the church office or Rufus Johnson.

UM Men Annual Car Show

Visiting Team Ministry Meeting

The United Methodist Men will sponsor a Car Show on Saturday, August 16th from 12:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m.  All proceeds will benefit the UM Men Spiritual Retreat at Rock Eagle.  Please come out and show your support, we will have a lot of great prizes and trophies.  Judging will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the awards presentation will begin at 4:30 p.m.  Registration forms can be found in the office window.  Mark your calendar now for this day of food, fun and fellowship!  We will also be taking orders for slabs of ribs.  The cost is $25.00.  For more information, see Scott Mahone at the 8:00  a.m. service or Tonja Johnson or Tim McCray at the 11:00 a.m. service.
